Lots of advanced 'English as a Second Language' learners think they still need to improve their language skills just because they are not getting the results they want in the workplace. 

However, the problem is not their English! They are advanced speakers remember! 

The real problem is that they can be a very experienced business person who has all of these skills and abilities in their native language but when they come to use their English they just focus 100% on the language and not their skills.

People tend to forget their skills as they are concentrating so much on the language! 

They need to understand that they have to refocus their attention on their existing business skills whilst using English, as well as learning some new skills to improve their position and influence.
